A male has been detained after attempting to run from Doncaster police after their car was seized.

The two cars were seized by a team of Doncaster police – one a Kia the other a Focus.

South Yorkshire Police, said: “These two were seized today (May, 6, 2021) by the team.

"Kia - used in various thefts of recent.

"Focus - one occupant tried to run off after it was stopped.

"One male detained and enquiries ongoing to identify the others involved.”
