Man taken to hospital after crash in Doncaster

Emergency services were called to Bentley Road in Bentley today, Saturday, February 29, at around 7.20pm.

South Yorkshire Police said it was called to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

A spokesman for the force said the pedestrian, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital with leg injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.

The road was briefly closed near the bridge before reopening at around 8.10pm.
