Police in South Yorkshire have issued a warning after someone was spotted targeting homes and vehicles.

Officers said someone had been seen cycling around Bellevue and Hyde Park in Doncaster on a dark-coloured mountain bike trying house and car door handles.

PCSO Andy Grix said the individual was wearing a light-coloured gilet-style jacket with a hood and had a dark, hooded top underneath.

He added that they had been seen riding along Town End Drive yesterday, Sunday, January 5, at around 6am.
