Video: Air ambulance takes off in strong winds after crash on South Yorkshire road
An air ambulance battled strong winds as it landed near the scene of an accident on a South Yorkshire road this afternoon.
Helimedics were called to the A638 Great North Road at Adwick-le-Street to deal with the collision.
The air ambulance landed in a field near the McDonald's before taking off with a patient inside.
Police have not yet released any details about the accident.
