What a dope! Man calls police to report theft of lamps he uses to grow cannabis

The man phoned police in Rotherham to complain that the high-powered heat lamps, which are used to grow cannabis plants, had been snatched.

Inspector Abdul Aziz of South Yorkshire Police revealed details of the call on Twitter, tweeting: "Bloke just reported the theft of his lamps he uses to grow cannabis," along with a shocked face emoji.

No more details have been given but Insp Aziz of Rotherham Local Policing Team said: “This was an adult male who sadly didn’t have any cannabis but we now know who he is and what he does in his spare time.”
