SHEFFIELD AND HALLAMSHIRE COUNTY FA SUNDAY CUPS
MINNOWS THURNSCOE HOTEL
reached the last 32 of the County FA Sunday Junior Cup after a 2-1 win over unbeaten Ardsley Athletic.
Hotel, from the Mexborough Sunday League's bottom tier, saw off the Barnsley side thanks to goals from Myles Thompson and Dale Hollingsworth.

Joining them in the fifth round draw will be CONISBROUGH ALMA who beat Shaw FC 5-2 after
extra time thanks to goals from Stephen Epton, Kyle Walton, Stephen Haines and a double from Craig Haywood. BARNBURGH COACH AND HORSES are also through after beating nearby Hemsworth Miners Welfare 5-4 courtesy of a Andy Beardshall brace and strikes from Nick Deakin, Rick Lindsay and Michael Richards.

THE DEARNE HOTEL are into the next round after beating Rossington Rangers 7-3 but WELFARE FC are out after Brian Bamford and Thomas O'Neill's goals proved not enough in the 4-2 defeat to Sheffield side Northern Avenue.

GOLDTHORPE COMRADES continued with the quest to better last season's semi final appearance in the County FA Sunday Senior Cup as they beat Pitsmoor Royal Oak 6-0 in a game that was prematurely ended when Alex Turton suffered a double break of his leg. Phil King, Josh Moore, Shaun Mace, Stan Fearne and Mark James all found the net for the Mexborough reigning champions.

On-form GROVES SOCIAL also reached the last 16 with a superb 11-1 over Boundary FC thanks to five goals from the prolific Paul Hemingway, four from Stephen Ellor and two from Ian Smith. PLOUGH went out after a 7-2 defeat at Royston Village while SWINTON WMC'S campaign is also over after they lost 5-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw with Wombwell Main.
