DONCASTER AND DISTRICT SENIOR LEAGUE
UPTON and Harewood Social maintained their unbeaten record and place atop the Premier Division table after Lee Dawson's goal midway through the first half proved enough to see off Thorne Town.
Hemsworth Alpha came back from a goal down to beat Sutton Rovers 4-2. Billy Hicks, Clive Wilson, John Probert and Iain Devine were all on target as Alpha picked up their second win of the season.

Mexborough Pocket fell further off the pace as they were beaten 7-3 at Retford Town with Kevin Adcock's brace and Jimmy Newton's strike proving mere consolations.

Swinton Station picked up their first win of the season in the battle of the strugglers as they beat South Kirkby 4-0. Mark Clare hit a double, new signing Ben Flanagan netted while Steve Hughes converted a penalty.

Hemsworth Alpha B edged out local rivals Upton Brookside 2-1. Nicky Hayes converted a penalty before Adam Roe grabbed the equaliser for Upton only for Dale Hepworth to grab the decider.

South Kirkby Colliery moved into the third round of the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA Challenge Cup after a 4-3 victory at Wickersley. Ryan Williams scored either side of half time while James Barley and Chris Askham doubled the tally.
